How to start a business - step by step

Starting up one's own company involves a lot of formalities and frequent visits to different offices.

The first thing is to obtain entry in the Business Register in the City Office or Municipality Office.
The proposal for this entry must include PBC ( Polish Business Classification ) or type of business
that a company has to deal with and contact details of the company.

If you are using the services offered by VSL-System Warsaw Virtual Office you can use
the address you obtained from this office.

With the "single point system", which was introduced on March 31, 2009,
in City Office you are also assigned with REGON number and are nominated to Social Insurance Board
and National Tax Office.

The next step is to get a corporate seal, which should include company name, address, telephone number and NIP and REGON numbers.
REGON number will be received by post from Polish Statistical Office.
NIP number you will receive from Tax Office.

Manufacturing of stamps in the first days of running the company is very important
because without it we can not set up business bank account which for most companies
is necessary for clearing with clients and with Social Insurance and Tax Office.

At this point, if running our company does not require any special licenses and permits, business registration can be considered finished.
